August 22

Well, this week sure flew by in a hurry! Our little boy, Braedon in now enrolled in pre-school. My little fellow is growing right up. He is so excited. He has his little lunch box and Thomas the train backpack already! I really am having a hard time with this, but he is so excited its hard not to be excited with him. I think daddy even shared a few tears over this one.

My brother Ken, Judy, and kids made it down the Alaska Highway to their new home in Springfield, Illinois. Big change! It was a blast to wake up early Saturday morning and after dialysis, buzz on over to see them for the day and still make it home before mid-night!

My other brother Drew and his family will be coming out soon so we can have a real live family get together with all of us. I am soo excited about this. It’s kinda funny after living so far away from each other all those years to be a short days drive from everyone.

It is a real blessing to be close to both of our parents as well. There comes a point in life when living near the parents again becomes a real blessing.
