Well, it is hard to believe how quickly the days go by. There never seems to be enough time in a day. We have been blessed to have some special family times of late. My family were here over Labor Day. Ken brought his family as well. In getting used to life in the lower forty-eight, they all learned the hard way that sun block is very IMPORTANT. The day before they came they had gone to the water park, all day in the sun. Ken really got sun poisoning really bad. We were lucky to keep his pants on all weekend! My parents were here as well and we always enjoy having them.
I cleaned up the house and then Tom’s parents were here for a few days. We had a wonderful visit. Tom’s dad painted our main bathroom for which I was so grateful.
By this past weekend, it felt real good to just be our little family again. We were enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon, when Braedon let out a yelp and said “Our tree fell down, mommy and I don’t know what we are going to do”. It was a beautiful tree and we were all sad. It now sets as firewood for several years from now.
My strength is coming back. I am feeling better everyday. I continue on my journey with Dr. Prathor and I really seem to be responding to his treatments. We are forever grateful. Gota go – Hope you all have a good week.
