Merry Christmas!

Since I seem to always have something to do besides blog, I though I’d better get a Holiday Greeting out!  I hope this finds life well for all of you, my dear friends.  Life is good here.  We are still trying to get back to normal.  I still have some challenges to overcome, but am doing much, much better.

I wanted to share a little story about Braedon.  The little fellow is always amazing us at his understanding of God and God’s love.  Last week I had the Sears Carpet Cleaners come to clean some furniture and rugs.  Two nice clean cut guys showed up and assessed my situation.  As we sat in the living room getting a quote for the work, Braedon went over to the manger scene that he is allowed to play with and asked the men if they knew “the true meaning of Christmas”.  They both just kinda shrugged their shoulders and cleared their throats.  Braedon jumped right in and went through each pieace of the manger scene and told them the story of Jesus’ birth.  They were very quiet and listened his story out.  Later that evening while we were eating supper,  Braedon had us stop and hold hands and he prayed, with tears in his eyes and quivering voice that God would help those poor men who didn’t know “the true meaning of Christmas”.  The prayers of a child, so sincere, so simple.  I know God heard his little prayer and it made me and Tom consider once again why God tells us to come to Him as little children.  I am so thankful for my family and my friends.  I hope that you all have a Blessed Christmas!
