Well, I have just a few minutes and thought I’d better do some updating.  First of all, last weekend we had a great time with my cousin’s Patty and Carol Joy and their families.  It was an emotional weekend for them as they started the process of cleaning out all of their mom’s stuff from their dad’s house.  With Uncle Roger getting remarried on May 2nd they figured they better get crackin at it.  All I know is that I once again resolved to keep up my regular trips to the Goodwill (drop-off) only!  They will all be back on Presidents Day weekend to finish up.  It truly is amazing what can acummulate.

Our company was all gone by two on Saturday and I just happened to call Mom to check on them.  She was almost in tears. They were really cold even with the fireplace.  I got off the phone quickly and went to talk to Tom.  He agreed with me that we needed to pack up and take our generator to them.  I had asked mom to have dad call me later and when he did it felt so good to tell him we are on our way to your house dad, with the generator.  He got so excited!  It was totally awesome.  We met them at Cracker Barrel for supper, then off to their house to get it warmed up.  They were able to save all of their food.   It was so fun to take them some help.   They were so appreciative of it.  They have done so much for us, it was just fun to switch the tables for a change.

I had a meeting with Dr. Taber (my transplant surgeon) this am.  He is very positive about my transplant.  I just need to find a kidney(living donor), or else hopefully a (deceased donor) will not be too long of a wait.  It really has gotten harder to do dialysis, knowing that it could come to an end soon. “  Lord, give me patience”.  Anybody hear of any kidneys, please let me know.
