June 10

Wow, has this ever been a busy month.  It started out with the trip down to my parents with Judy to do a kitchen make-over at their house.  Now that seems to have happened ages ago with all that has happened since.  Last weekend we had our wonderful friend, Frank Baldwin with us  Sat-Sun.  What a treat to get to visit and get caught up with he and Anna’s life.  They are precious friends to us.  Anna comes to Indy tomorrow, then we will get to see her.  Anna cooks and Frank administrates a Family Camp up here. It is a really awesome camp.  We plan to go this weekend.  Anna is getting a new restaurant up and running, she is a fabulous cook!  We are so happy for them, getting to fulfil a life long dream.

This week has been a Vacation Bible School week for Braedon.  He has really had a great time.  I got to volunteer for Mon-Wed with the snacks.  We had a real disaster today.  Volunteers had made single scoop ice cream cones  with a piece of black licorice out the bottom to represent microphones to go along with the theme “Go tell the Good News!”. Well these lovely snacks were made yesterday so that they could freeze very hard over night in the freezer.  Well, this am, the director of the kitchen decided to move them, and it all went down hill from there.  About 200 of these things shot off the trays and  I promise they flew everywhere.  Oh the mess!  Well to recover they made more , but needless to say they were not frozen hard so us folks in the snack rooms had ice cream flying everywhere.  There will be lots of laundry happening around town tonite!  What a memory!

Anybody ever have a week that it just seems like your spinning dirt!  I just can’t seem to get anything done. I am shocked to be blogging actually.   The wait continues for a kidney.  We pray daily that in God’s perfect timing that is so off with mine that kidney will come!  I know it will be perfect to HIs plan.  In the mean time I will continue to wait Patiently   If anybody has some extra time to pray, please pray for this situation.  We truly want God’s will.

Keep blogging my dear friends.  I don’t get to call on the phone that much, but I do like to catch up on you all in blog land. I have broke over to face book, but I am still using tom’s account.
