November 16
16 November 2009 in UncategorizedGood Morning! I hope everyone has just had a wonderful weekend. I know we sure did. We went on Friday afternoon down to Cincinnati to Tom’s brothers house. We all then went to a Collingsworth Family concert. It was a real treat. It was fun to see so many old friends whom we haven’t seen for years at the Taft Theater that night. What an amazing family the Collingsworths are, and the talent they represent is unbelievable. There music is so Christ centered. It was a real blessing to me.
I was suppose to hear last Friday if my Donor Angel Mary is a match for me with a kidney transplant. There has been some delay and as of this morning I still have not heard. I have to admit that I was feeling a little anxious by Friday evening. I was sitting in this awesome concert, but in my heart I was so disappointed and sad. The second song that Kim,Brooklyn, and Courtney sang went like this -
“In this age of uncertainty, questions come to my mind. What is waiting ahead for me, and the rest of mankind.
Fear not tomorrow, God is already there. He’s charting the course you’ll take
He sees each hidden snare. He’s waiting to guide you, through each burden and care.
Fear not tomorrow, God is already there.
Are you troubled o’er things to come, is your future unsure, are you dreading the coming dawn, a long day to
endure?
Fear not tomorrow, God is already there. He’s charting the course you’ll take
He sees each hidden snare. He’s waiting to guide you, through each burden and care.
Fear not tomorrow, God is already there. ”
I have to say that while they sang this song so beautifully, God met me there is the darkness of that theater and gave me comfort and encouragement. This whole transplant situation will work out in His timing and all will be well. It may not turn out anything like I have planned, but it will be right. My trust is in God.
Thank you for all the phone calls of love and support to Tom and myself. We cherish your friendships and love you all. I will post more later in the week. Until then “Fear not tomorrow, God is already there”.
