December 3
3 December 2009 in UncategorizedI cannot believe I am typing December already! Now that Thanksgiving is over, the days are getting fuller and fuller. I am so thankful to have the energy to keep up with it all. I don’t have a lot of time today to blog, so here’s the brief on transplant and a short funny Braedon story.
Transplant: Have not heard a word this week, but have one more day this week as a possibility to hear something! The wait is long, some days almost unbearable, but overall resting in the promise that God has each mi nut detail planned out and will not be surprised whatever that phone call brings. “Fear not Tomorrow, God is already there” continues to inspire me to live life to the fullest while I wait. I praise God for the love of my husband who willingly continues to support me through each dialysis treatment. Never once complaining when that alarm goes off at 3:45am. He is precious to me and I could never do it all by myself. Please continue to pray and I will hopefully have some kind of a praise report soon.
Braedon Story: The other morning it was cold outside and we had an appointment to hurry off to. Scurrying around the house and rushing my little man, he soon became a little irritated and started up with a attitude. So since we were already late, I took him into the living room and sat down on the sofa to have one of those infamous chats about being nice even when we don’t feel like it. He sat with big eyes looking sincerely into mine, when all of a sudden he took a deep breath and said “Wow, that attitude of mine, sometimes sometimes it does the silliest things!” Honestly, I started laughing so hard I had tears pouring down my face. So, our day was off again on a much happier note. Thank-you God for little boys!
Love,
Bethany

Hey, we have missed you in Colorado!!!!! Lisa e-mailed me with your website and I am glad to see that you are all doing well!!!! I have missed working with you!!!! I enjoyed the time we shared. We have all been thinking of you and are glad to know all is well.
With Love Kim
Kim, How awesome to hear from you. I feel like I have been the world’s worst communicator! I have missed you and the other gals so much. I haven’t even seen your little one. I do hope you are doing well. Send an update on your crazy life! I’d love to hear from you. My life is pretty nuts too! I am still waiting for a transplant. However, I do have two potential donors. My donor angel Mary, a girl I grew up with in Alaska is being tested. She is an acceptable match, but my “B” cells tend to attack hers, so they are testing to see if rituxan treatments would correct that problem. My cousin will also be tested and the best of the two will be a go ahead. We are thankful to be able to do dialysis at home. I still have a catheter and we will be thrilled to be done with it all. Braedon is growing up into a fine young man. He has his 5th Birthday Party tomorrow! I will write again soon now that I have your email. Thanks for contacting me!
Love,
Bethany
Hey friend. We have been thinking about you, so we stopped in at your blog to hear the latest news. We both got a great chuckle out of your story. What a blessing children are.
Love you.
